Washington, W.Va. (June 24, 2023) – The Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series, presented by Toyota, will be making their first ever pitstop in West Virginia at Ohio Valley Speedway this Friday night as a start to a triple-header weekend in the area.
The event, being held on July 28, will be Ohio Valley Speedway’s first national Midget event. Gates for this event will open at 4 p.m., and racing action will get underway at 6 p.m. The racing program will feature the track’s weekly classes, in addition to the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets.
“While the majority of races at the track feature local racers, we are excited to be hosting an event on such a larger scale,” Rich Michael, Jr., Ohio Valley Speedway owner said. “I’m honored that Ohio Valley Speedway will be the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series’ first ever race in West Virginia.”
During the 2023 season so far, the series completed several shows in Illinois, Kansas, North Carolina, and Missouri. Following the weekend in West Virginia and Ohio, the series will move on to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Iowa, Indiana and Oklahoma. Their full schedule can be viewed on their website.

General admission for the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series race is $25, with children 10 and under being free, and pit admission is $40, with children five and under being free. Pit admission allows event goers the opportunity to take up close photos and meet the drivers, while general admission admits event goers into the Grandstands.
Bleacher seating and lawn chair seating is available. Additionally, coolers are permitted, as long as they are smaller than 14 inches and do not contain glass.
