Bryan Hulbert – HASTINGS, Neb. (July 20, 2023) Just over a week away from the much-anticipated return to KAM Raceway in Hastings, Neb., the Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division will take on the Nebraska oval on Friday, July 28, and Saturday, July 29.
Making their first visit to KAM Raceway on August 18, 2022, the field consisted of 119 NOW600 entries, with Brecken Reese capturing the Non-Wing feature win. Frank Flud topped A-Class, with Jett Nunley winning Restricted at the one-fifth-mile track.
Just past the mid-point of the 2023 season, 21 events have been contested out of a scheduled 25, with 16 more nights to go across seven tracks in five states. Going into the backend of the 2023 schedule, New Mexico’s Ryder McCutcheon has taken over the point’s lead in Non-Wing competition, while Brant Woods holds a dominant advantage in A-Class. Carson Bolden leads the way in restricted.
Friday, July 28 open at 5:00 P.M. with cars on track at 7:00 for Hot Laps and Qualifying. Times Saturday, July 29 move up by a half-hour.
