Saturday was an exciting night of races at Washington Speedway for the 1st Annual Corey Imm Memorial race for the Jayhusker Racing Series. The Imm family gave an extra $100 to the winners of each class.
Jordan Boston in the 12 got the NOW600 A Class win with Kelbie Volkman in the 5KX a close 2nd place. The 2F of Jadyn Friesen, the 35 of Gaige Weldon and the 91 of Alec Frisell rounded out the top 5 finishes.
The NOW600 Non-Wing feature was won by Bobby Eubanks by the narrow margin of .081 seconds over Jordan Boston. The rest of the top 5 finishers were the 38K of Jackson Kounkel, the 5A of Ava Gropp and the 35 of Gaige Weldon.
Kyler Bearce picked up the win in the NOW600 Restricted micros over the 91 of Sam Kaller. The 7G of Ollie Geiger, the 70 of Micah Becker and the 8Z of Kasen Zorn all got the rest of the top 5 finishes.
Cooper Canady in the 53Jr got the victory in the Jr Sprints. The 4Z of Kyler Zorn, the 20 of Sawyer Nading, and the 2C of Kinser Jackson followed Canady across the finish line.
Laike Imm picked up the Sportsman win. Therefore, the extra $100 given by the Imm family went to the second place finisher of the 74, Blake Mikesell. The 14 of Brock Renz, the 61 of Tracy Saathoff and the 34 of Bill Mikesell made up the rest of the top 5.
The Dirt Mini Trucks ran an exciting race too with Alex Luecke going away with the number one finish. The 23 of Shane Hay, the 35 of Heather Straub, the 15 of Samuel Rookstool and the 123 of Jason Simmons all got top 5's.
