CANEY, Kan. (June 27, 2023) Continuing to build on his rookie season with the American Sprint Car Series presented by RacinDirt.com, Tennessee's Howard Moore wheeled the AR Dyno Specialty No. 3 to a pair of podium finishes this past weekend at Lawton Speedway and Caney Valley Speedway.
Staring off Thursday, June 22, at Lawton Speedway, the night started second quick in qualifying for Heat Two. Putting Howard third in the Heat that's where he would stay. With an overall decent time keeping him towards the top of the night's points, Moore moved fifth to third in the 30-lap A-Feature.
Moving north to Kansas for Caney Valley on Saturday, June 24, Moore's night started the same with a second quick qualifying attempt for the third Heat. Slipping one spot to fourth in his Heat shuffled Howard to ninth on the A-Feature grid. Avoiding several cautions throughout the 30-lap run, Moore rushed to a runner-up finish.
Moore's next event is Friday, June 30, at Boone County Raceway in Albion, Neb. then WaKenney Speedway in WaKenney, Kan. on Saturday, July 1.
