DELMAR, DE – The revitalized Delaware International Speedway roars back to life on Friday, June 30 with the Rapid Tire Service USAC East Coast Sprint Cars and Millman’s NAPA Auto Parts Modifieds.
The Millman’s NAPA Auto Parts Modifieds roll into the Friday night action for the first time in more than a month. Frenchtown, N.J.’s Billy Pauch Jr. was victorious during the stop when the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco was in town.
Boyertown, Pa.’s Mike Gular (251 points) leads the way on the strength of his win and runner-up finishes in the opening two events of the season.
Just one point behind Gular sits Milford, Del.’s Jordan Watson (250), who finished second and third, respectively, in those same opening events.
East Greenbush, N.Y.’s David Schilling and Neshanic Station, N.J.’s Matt Stangle are tied for third at 218 points each. Savannah, N.Y.’s Matt Sheppard (190) rounds out the top five.
The USAC East Coast 360 Sprint Cars make their first of two appearances of 2023 on the Delaware-Maryland border for a 25-lap affair.
The wingless warriors return for one more trip on Sept. 22 to Delaware International Speedway.
Allentown, Pa.’s Briggs Danner was victorious the last time the USAC East Coast Sprint Cars invaded Delmar.
The Blue Hen Dispose-All Crate 602 Sportsman and RUSH Late Models join the June 30 affair as well.
Laurel, Del.’s Michael White and Upper Makefield, Pa.’s Joe Toth are tied atop the Blue Hen Dispose-All Crate 602 Sportsman standings at 195 points apiece. Laurel, Del.’s Jordn Justice rounds out the top three, 30 points behind the pair.
In RUSH Late Model action, Stephens City, Va.’s Kyle Hardy leads the way after the lone event in the Battle of the Bay on May 12.
The Southern Delaware Vintage Stock Cars, Little Lincolns, Delaware Trucks, and Delmarva Chargers round out the June 30 program.
For the June 30 event, one ticket booth will open at 3 p.m. for early pit admission. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:15 p.m.
Adults pay $25, Seniors (ages 65 and up) and Students (ages 13-17) pay $20. Kids (ages 9-12) pay $10 and Children 8 and under are FREE.
Pit admission is $40 (Non-Members), $35 (NASCAR Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children ages 5 and under.
