Teammates Attempt to Tame POWRi National Midget and Micro Championship Chases

Belleville, IL. (6/19/23) Attaining the pinnacle of any POWRi League championship picture for a team is no small feat and to reach the high point in a pair of competitional chases is nearly unheard of, yet entering into the highly contested summer months Mounce/Stout Motorsports teammates Corbin Rueschenberg and Kale Drake are riding into the annual Illinois SPEEDWeek atop the National Midget and Outlaw Micro season standings.

Blasting out of the gate in his POWRi National Midget League rookie campaign, Corbin Rueschenberg of Mesa Arizona continues to impress with driving talents beyond his years while establishing a solid one-hundred-fifty point lead entering into June. Gaining four straight top-ten performances, Corbin remains steady placing a career-best fourth at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex, then backing up the showing with an outstanding fifth in his first appearance at Lucas Oil Speedway.

Impressing across the board within the 2023 POWRi National Midget League season, Corbin Rueschenberg continues to compete in the familiar Mounce/Stout Motorsports, JPU Racing, EnergIce, Southwest Overhead Doors, Rockwell Security, HRX, SPA Technique, Spike Chassis, Stanton SR-11X Racing Engine, #26 into on-track action next in the upcoming POWRi Illinois SPEEDWeek June 22-25.

Equally impressive by battling to a pair of top-five performances in the season, Kale Drake leads the POWRi Outlaw Micro League presented by Engler Machine and Tool. Banking a runner-up finish to start the season at Port City Raceway in the Turnpike Challenge then backing up the performance with a final podium placement at Sweet Springs Motorsports Park in May.

Joining into the competitional competence, Kale Drake, of Collinsville Oklahoma, continues the seasonal quest of championship glories in the Mounce/Stout, JPU Racing, Southwest Overhead Doors, EnergIce #26 by leading the POWRi Outlaw Micro League presented by Engler Machine and Tool into the annual Land of Lincoln showcases June 23-24.
