With Mother Nature wiping out Saturday’s opener, Waylon Phillips made his lone start of the weekend on Sunday at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex (Sweet Springs, Mo.) for the 600cc A-Class Winged Micro portion of the John Hinck Championship.
After losing one spot in his heat race finish fourth, Phillips rebounded in the feature with a top-10 run. Starting in 12th, Waylon steered forward two positions to come home 10th.
