Robards and RS12 Motorsports show pace at Doe Run and Southern Illinois

Harrison Robards kicked off his racing weekend at Doe Run Raceway (Doe Run, Missouri) on Friday, where the driver from Dardenne Prairie in the Show-Me State was one of 18 entrants in the 600c Outlaw Winged Micros class.

“Dirty Harry” opened the evening by finishing second in his heat race aboard his Bales Cleaning & Restoration No. 11H from RS12 Motorsports. He was set to start fourth in the 20-lap A-Main, however, rain washed out the evening’s feature events at the 1/6–mile oval.

The next day, the RS12 Motorsports crew traveled to Southern Illinois Raceway (Marion, Illinois). Robards was among 20 entrants in the 1/8-mile track’s A Class.

Robards finished in the runner-up spot in his heat race and rolled off fourth for the main event. He was running second when he was struck hard by another car, ultimately leading to a broken steering box. He was unable to complete all the laps and finished 12th.
