Belleville, IL. (5/17/23) Hitting stride in the second month of yearly competition, the POWRi 410 Bandit Outlaw Sprint Series points standings begin to take shape as the next venture will see the series on a two-state/two-day swing of edge-of-the-seat adrenaline rushes on May 19-20.
Residing atop the current points standings finds the reigning all-time POWRi League feature win leader, Joe B Miller, of Millersville Missouri. Coming into the next POWRi 410 event claiming the season-opening feature win at Benton Speedway Joe B has increased his notable win count to over fifty within POWRi competitions while remarkably earning at least one POWRi League feature victory every season since 2010. (45 Micro, 6 WAR, 2 BOSS)
Defending Champion Roger Crockett, of Broken Arrow Oklahoma, drives to continue the tendency of top-five performances that claimed last season’s chase for a championship. Notching runner-up at Benton Speedway, Roger aims to improve one spot event as well as from last year’s performance at Lee County Speedway in 2023.
Quickly rising through the ranks of Midwest front-runner, Garet Williamson rides the wave of quality placements into the weekend. Establishing a solid top-ten placement in the first event of 2023 after coming from the rear at Benton Speedway, Williamson comes into Donnellson Iowa having already claimed the final podium placement as well as a heat race victory upon the previous series visit.
POWRi 410 BOSS will return to Lee County Speedway on Friday, May 19th; classes scheduled to compete at Donnellson Iowa also include IMCA, Late Models, IMCA Stock Cars, and IMCA Northern SportMods.
Lake Ozark Speedway will welcome the POWRi 410 Bandit Outlaw Sprint Series on Saturday, May 20th in the Spring Spectacular; POWRi-sanctioned classes to also compete will include Super Stock, Pure Stock, and Hornet divisions.
