Jake Martens Wires URSS Field At 81-Speedway

Bryan Hulbert - PARK CITY, Kan. (May 13, 2023) Rolling flag to flag at 81 Speedway, Oklahoma's Jake Martens captured his first win of the season with the United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford.

Martens' second overall win of 2023, the win ended a drought for Jake at the Kansas oval, with his last URSS triumph at 81 happening on April 5, 2019.

The Jecha No. 17x found the Checkered Flag with 0.331-seconds to spare over Jeremy Campbell. Moving up five positions, Zach Blurton completed the podium. Luke Cranston and Jon Freeman rounded out the top five.

The next event for the United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford is May 20 at Dodge City Raceway Park.
