Bryce’s first race in a Top Gun Sprint car is in the books. The 15 year old finished 2nd in his heat race and also finished 2nd in the feature. Every time he hit the track he got better and more confident. He listened and asked good questions and acted on the feedback he was given.

No words can express our thanks to Steve Diamond for giving him this incredible opportunity and for teaming him up with his new crew chief Mr. Kurt. They are going to make a great team. He spent a lot of time just taking time to talk to Bryce to make sure he was comfortable and gave him just small bits of feedback at a time so he wasn’t overwhelmed.

Thanks to Robby Hoffmann, Austin Vowell and Ryan Comer for all their help over the weekend. They are always there for him.

Car owner Steve Diamond stated: "Super proud of Bryce Comer and how this young man handled himself this weekend. Bryce stepped into a full size sprint for the first time and showed why he’s deserving of racing anything anywhere in the country. I appreciate Bryce’s parents for trusting me enough and allowing Bryce to drive my car this weekend. He will get many more opportunities and I will do what I can to give him a better piece. He was better than his equipment, P2 was on me."

Plans are being discussed on when Bryce will be back in the car for a future event. In the meantime Bryce will be back in his non-wing micro this weekend at Marion County Speedway.
