ASCS Arizona Non-Wing Sprints Back On Track Saturday At Central Arizona Raceway

Bryan Hulbert – CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (May 3, 2023) Back in action at Central Arizona Raceway, the ASCS Arizona Non-Wing Sprints will headline action at the high-banked oval on Saturday, May 6.

The third outing of the season, Sterling Cling and R.J. Johnson have taken the first two events on the 2023 lineup with Johnson currently leading the tour standings by 18 over Logan Calderwood. Pete Yerkovich occupies third. Charles Davis, Jr., and Daylin Perreira make up the top five.

Saturday, May 6, opens at 4:00 P.M. with racing at 6:00 P.M. (MT). Admission is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and Military, $15 for Students (12-17), and free for Youth (11 and under). Pit opens at 2:00 P.M., and Pit Passes are $35. Central Arizona Raceway is located behind the Pinal County Fairgrounds at 512 S. Eleven Mile Corner.

The 2023 season will mark the 32nd year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
