Driven2SaveLives and High Limit Sprint Car Series to partner for Kokomo Speedway special event on May 2

High Limit Sprint Car Series and Driven2SaveLives, an Indiana Donor Network program, have partnered for the High Limit Sprint Car Series event at Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana. On Tuesday, May 2, the High Limit Sprint Car Series takes on “Indiana’s Baddest Bullring” for the $23,023-to-win event. The sprint car series was launched last year by Kyle Larson and co-promoter and brother-in-law Brad Sweet, the four-time defending World of Outlaws series champion.

Kyle Larson stated, “It means a lot to have the support from Driven2SaveLives for our May 2nd High Limit race at Kokomo Speedway. With this, our goal is to continue to educate and encourage race fans about the importance of donation in the racing community.”

Driven2SaveLives is an Indiana Donor Network program launched in 2016 to sign up Hoosiers to be organ donors after Bryan Clauson, an Indiana native, United States Auto Club and IndyCar driver, tragically died in a racing accident and saved five lives through organ donation. The program has since signed up more than 7,000 race fans. It continues to focus on raising awareness around organ, tissue and eye donation and inspiring race fans across Indiana to sign up as organ donors.

“Everyone at Indiana Donor Network and Driven2SaveLives is thrilled to partner with the High Limit Sprint Car Series for the May 2 event at Kokomo Speedway," said Taylor McLean, Bryan Clauson’s sister and marketing program specialist at Indiana Donor Network. “It is an honor to be a part of an event and series that gives back to drivers and their teams. Kokomo is a very special track for Driven2SaveLives, Indiana Donor Network and my own family, as it has continuously been a place for fans to honor Bryan and build support for organ donation and transplantation.”

Fans attending the May 2 event can sign up as organ donors on-site at the track and learn more about the Driven2SaveLives ambassador program.
