Coming off a big and exciting week of racing in Northern California the “KWS Tonight” team will be on the net this evening putting a wrap on it all, in addition to featuring interviews with past Golden State KWS champions and recent Outlaw winners the “Shark” Sean Becker and the “TK Express” Tim Kaeding.

To view the show log onto http://www.kwssprints.com starting at 7pm on Thursday. It will then replay on the homepage to watch at your leisurely pleasure over the next week. Archived shows from this year are available at http://vimeo.com/kingofthewestsprints/videos

Becker is coming off his first career World of Outlaws win during Friday night of the Gold Cup Race of Champions and eventually backed that up with an impressive third place effort during the finale. We’ll get Sean’s thoughts on the successful outing at Gold Cup, as well as the meaning behind winning his second Silver Dollar Speedway 410 title this season. “The Shark” is in his first year driving the M&S Racing No. 27 mount.

Kaeding on Monday night picked up a thrilling victory at the Antioch Speedway, executing a picture perfect slider to steal the win away on the last corner from four-time World of Outlaws champ Donny Schatz. The reigning King of the West champion has finished among the top-four in five of last six World of Outlaws events, showing tremendous consistency in the Dennis & Teresa Roth 83. Kaeding will be searching for his sixth KWS win of the season at the "Cotton Classic" on October 13.

On the “Kaeding Performance Flashback” this week we showcase a double header weekend of Golden State 410 racing in 2006 at Ocean Speedway and Placerville Speedway. That season’s eventual Rookie of the Year Robert Ballou made his name known by sweeping the action and taking home a $1000 bonus for doing so. Two-time champ Jonathan Allard gave him all he could handle in what was a great two nights of action.

Continuing our walk down memory lane from 2012 to get ready for the King of the West season finale on October 13 we will relive the June 23 event at Antioch Speedway. That night saw Sacramento throttle-masher Kyle Hirst make his debut in the Roth Motorsports No. 83jr. a very special one by setting a new track record to start the event and claiming the 30-lap feature to conclude it. Hirst will be back in the Roth Motorsports 83jr. sprinter at the “Cotton Classic” in Hanford on October 13.
