Norris battles mechanical issues in IRA doubleheader 34 Raceway

Friday night found Bryce Norris in action at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) aboard his Haute Hospitality No. 37 Sprinter for the two-day Morning Sun Farm Implement Sprint Car Clash.

Drawing a stout field of 48 Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprint Series entries for the series’ season opener, Norris battled a loose oil gauge line in his heat, relegating him into one of two B-Mains. Needing to place second or better to make the $6,000-to-win feature, Bryce recorded a fifth-place outing.

On Saturday, Bryce suffered terminal engine issues in his hot lap session that ended his night immediately.
