MAR Motorsports and pilot Jordan Ryan, kicked off the 2023 season on Saturday afternoon with a visit to Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) with Ryan competing in the Fast On Dirt Sprint Series opener.
In a field of 39 Sprint Cars, Jordan laid down the fifth-fastest lap in his time trial group before picking up a convincing heat race victory by more than a two-second margin. Chasing a $3,000 payday in the feature, Ryan recorded a top-five finish in his first start of the season aboard the Joyride Transport No. 25R Sprinter. He trailed Brandon Wimmer, J.J. Hickle, Chris Windom, and Cap Henry to the checkers in the 30-lap affair.
The team will return to action next weekend with the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions for the Core and Main Spring Nationals at Attica Raceway Park (Attica, OH). Both Friday and Saturday night will include a $6,000-to-win feature.
