The Steve Caunt Racing team again last weekend at Sydney Speedway showed why it is one of the best when it comes to promotion with in the sport of Sprintcar racing, Steve Caunt as well as contesting in the RD 18 of the Sydney Speedway Track Championship he again pulled another car out of his stable for Dragons Coach Steve Price who put on a show for the fans in Sydney.
While speaking with Steve Caunt today he had this to say about the Steve Price Sprintcar promotion “The promotion from I98fm was a cracker, Steve Price was amazing, good to work with and really a great learner, he listened and done what was passed onto him by Myself & my team and executed the Driving perfectly. Steve Price or Coach will hopefully take up the offer from Steve Caunt Racing for a couple of race nights next season, and then we will see where that leads the team. I cant thank the team of helpers from Sydney Speedway enough, they were also great and couldn’t do enough to assist with scheduling and access to the Media and Steve Prices guests. All in All the coverage on the Wide World of Sports and The Print and Radio has been only great for Speedway in a whole and Sprintcars in Sydney. Check out some footage & a interview on Wide World of Sports via this link http://video.au.msn.com/watch/video/around-the-grounds-round-five/xl7txto he will be a true asset to the sprintcar ranks in the future”
Steve Price had this to say on a live radio interview after the experience “It was awesome, a life long dream achieved, I cant thank Steve Caunt Racing, his family & the entire SCR crew enough for the help & support in achieving this, just the amount of little things you have to remember just to start these things, it is a credit to all the Sprintcar drivers through out the country in how they get these things along at the speeds they do”
