Rueschenberg Readies for POWRi National Midget League ROY Title Run

Belleville, IL. (2/27/23) Raising the level of competition for 2023, Mesa, Arizona's Corbin Rueschenberg is setting his sights on the POWRi National Midget Rookie of the Year honors with Mounce/Stout Motorsports.

Earning a trio of POWRi National Midget starts in 2022, Rueschenberg remains eligible and ready to compete for the Championship as well as the recently renamed Jim Childers Rookie of the Year Honor when the season launches at the Turnpike Challenge March 22-25.

Excited for the opportunity Corbin would state "We showed good speed with Jay and Gavin in the limited showings last year. Adjusting from the Micro to the Midget, I just need the seat time and I believe I can be a frontrunner. I am super excited for the year and can't wait for the season to get underway."

Proving his racing prowess over the past two seasons of traveling, Rueschenberg rapidly climbed the Micro Sprint ranks by claiming nine Wins, forty-three top-fives, and seventy-eight top-tens across the United States. Continuing his JPU Racing #26 Micro Sprint career when not in a POWRi National Midget competition with Mounce/Stout Motorsports.

Mounce/Stout Motorsports co-owner Jay Mounce would include "Gavin and I are really excited for the season and are looking forward to working with Corbin as well as JPU Racing more in 2023. With several familiar tracks mixed with tracks that will be totally new to him, we are ready for the challenge. We experienced the same learning curve with Chase McDermand’s Rookie of the Year clinching run last season and hope to carry that momentum into this year.”

Entering the 2023 POWRi National Midget League season will see Corbin Rueschenberg compete in the familiar Mounce/Stout Motorsports, JPU Racing, EnergIce, Southwest Overhead Doors, Rockwell Security, HRX, SPA Technique, Spike Chassis, Stanton SR-11X Racing Engine, #26 into on-track action against a numerous plethora of open-wheel talents.
