Bryan Hulbert - VIVIAN, La. (February 23, 2023) The start of the 2023 season for the Dirt2Media NOW600 Series presented by Hi Plains Building Division will have to wait another week as saturated grounds and a continuing wet forecast has forced the cancelation of this weekend's Caddo Parish Shakedown.
Hit by an unforecasted shower Thursday morning, the forecast for Friday and Saturday both currently loom around a 50% to 60% chance of rain.
The next event on the 2023 lineup is the Micro Meltdown presented by MelMark Pipe and Supply at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Okla., on Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4. Along with NOW600 competition, the weekend will also include Dwarf Cars, Turf Tire Micros, and Mini Mods versus Mini Late Models.
