PETERSEN MEDIA: Though FK Shocks weren’t on the car in victory lane, they still performed very well at the Knoxville Nationals over the weekend as they scored a top five finish during the Saturday night feature, and picked up two prelim feature event wins.
Kicking off on Wednesday night, Kyle Larson made his Knoxville Nationals debut count as he piloted his Abrue Vineyards machine to his first career Knoxville victory. Larson took advantage of Jason Sides’ bad luck and drove a flawless race to earn the win with his Factory Kahne shocks package.
Stepping out of his retirement for the week, Hotfoot, Jason Meyers also utilized Factory Kahne shocks as he piloted the Tarlton Racing No.21m machine for the week. Qualifying on Thursday night, Meyers used a lap nine restart to get under Mark Dobmeier for the lead, and never looked back.
In the 600cc ranks, Alex Panella and Kyle Offill dominated the ¾ restricted class at the Delta Speedway in Stockton, CA as they duo ran first and second with their FK packages.
