JONESTOWN, Pa. (February 13, 2023) - Year three with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series activated in a competitive manner for Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss, ultimately capping Volusia Speedway Park’s annual DIRTcar Nationals by finishing 12th and 14th, respectively, and earning a Hard Charging performance in the process. The World of Outlaws portion of the DIRTcar Nationals was scheduled to feature three days of action, but Saturday’s main event was eventually postponed as a result of Mother Nature; it will be contested in the Outlaws’ March return.

Zearfoss, driver of his own Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, A. Lane Living, No. 3Z sprint car, earned his Hard Charging performance in Thursday’s World of Outlaws opener (actually contested late Friday afternoon, also as the result of Mother Nature), blasting ahead from 19th to finish 12th.

Although not earning another Hard Charger Award for his efforts, Zearfoss’ 14th-place score was also the result of a massive move through the field, navigating ahead from 26th on the grid.

Just prior to the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series season opener, Zearfoss joined the All Star Circuit of Champions for their portion of the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park, finishing 12th and seventh, respectively.
“Hats off to this team for being ready for Florida. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to compete in Australia this off-season, so I wasn’t around for much of December and January. It didn’t matter…the guys were ready and we were able to knock out some highlights right away. That’s a great feeling,” Zearfoss said. “We learned some things at Volusia and we’ll put them to good use when we return in early March.”

ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with another round of World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competition in the Sunshine State, resetting the compass for Volusia Speedway Park in De Leon Springs, Florida, for the Spring Showdown on Sunday and Monday, March 5-6.
