Howard Moore returned to the River Spirit Expo Center (Tulsa, Oklahoma) for the 34th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals Chris Chappue-owned No. 41 Midget.
Moore started third in his preliminary heat race on Thursday before mechanical issues resulted in a seventh-place finish. He was then seeded into a C-Main, where he fell short of a transfer position.
On Saturday afternoon, the final day of the 34th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals came to life. Via points, Howard started sixth in the second M-Feature. He fell three spots to a ninth-place finish. With only the Top-6 advancing, Moore's weekend would come to an early end.
