Howard Moore hit the road again on Saturday night, traveling to I-30 Speedway in Little Rock Arkansas to compete with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS).
Forty-two drivers were on hand for the ASCS Mid-South Region event. Via a heat race win, Moore accumulated enough points to earn the sixth-starting spot for the first qualifying race.
No making the transfer into the main event via his qualifyier, Howard was sent to a B-Main. Finishing second, he earned the 19th starting position on the feature grid. Marching his was forward through the caution plagued 30-lapper, Moore crossed the finish line in eighth.
"We had a great time with family, friends and fans," Moore commented. "I appreciate all of the fans support of the race tracks and teams. It’s more important than ever. I especially enjoyed everyone that came by my trailer and getting to talk to all of you. I am not sure I got to shake everyone’s hand and if I didn’t next time just stop me from what I am doing. Without the fans support we wouldn’t have a track to race at each week."
