Howard Moore traveled to Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo. over the weekend to pilot the Rains Motorsports / CP Carrillo No. 3 High Performance Lubricants / River City Hydraulics Winged Sprint Car in the 11th Annual 360 Nationals.
In a field of 63 American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Warrior Region entries, Howard drew the ninth starting position for his heat race. A fifth-place finish would put him on the pole of his qualifier. Moore went on to finish second in the qualifier, locking him into the eleventh spot on the grid for feature. Advancing two spots in the 25-lapper, Howard crossed the finish line in ninth.
On Sunday, 61 entries returned for the 11th Annual 360 Nationals finale. Finishing second in his heat race after starting fourth would put Howard starting fourth in his qualifier. Unfortunately, a tangle with another competitor on the opening circuit would result in Moore registering a ninth-place finish. After starting third in the B-Main, Moore was leading when he lost his brakes and spun, bringing his night to a disappointing end.
