Top-10 in Ralph Henson Memorial at I-30 Speedway

Howard Moore returned to I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday for the annual Ralph Henson Memorial.

Moore took his Rains Motorsports / CP Carrillo No. 3 High Performance Lubricants / River City Hydraulics Winged Sprint Car into battle against 29 American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Mid-South Region entries.

Racing from third to win his heat race positioned Moore third in points for the night. He went on to finish second in the pole shuffle, earning him the outside front row starting spot for the A-Main. Howard took the lead at the drop of the green flag and paced the first eight circuits before Mark Smith slipped by in lapped traffic.

Howard fought back and was battling for the top spot when he made contact with a slower competition. Having to restart from the tail of the field, Moore recovered to a seventh-place finish in the final rundown.
