Belleville, IL. (12/07/2022) Hyping up the exhilaration surrounding the POWRi return of indoor action at Southern Illinois Center on December 17th, one of the region’s most admired racing legends will be honored with the restoration of the Junior Knepper 55. Intensifying the entry list as the event approaches will find several California-capable competitors attempting to return to the golden state victorious from DuQuoin.
Established as a true revolutionary talent in the sport, Justin Grant(Lone) will next find open-wheel action at Southern Indoor Center after competing in the gauntlet of USAC racing in 2022 competing in every event of the Midgets, Sprints, and Silver Crown. The former USAC champion and Chili Bowl Nationals preliminary night winner enters POWRi competition with a trio of league victories having claimed checkers twice in WAR as well as once within the National Midget League. Will Grant find the front of the field once again within POWRi racing, this time around indoors at DuQuoin?
Perennial fan-favorite and teammate, Thomas Meseraull(San Jose) also throws his recognized and determined name into the mix as a threat to win in anything on any given night. Entering into POWRi competition with a single WAR win as well as a handful of National Midget victories, can T-Mez notch his seventh career POWRi win at DuQuoin in December?
Bringing ample credentials to the Southern Indoor Center will also find recognized sprint-car wheelman Sean Quinn(Clovis) join in on the indoor POWRi racing with previous feats in the Chili Bowl Nationals as well as a Bakersfield Speedway podium placement with the WSR Sprints most recently.
Raising the list of entries as well as the level of competition, drivers from all over will now begin to strategize their battle plans on the mini-magic-mile with the POWRi National Midget League. Will any California contenders be able to ride out of DuQuoin on December 17th on a successful advantage in the return of the Junior Knepper 55?
