November 14, 2022 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Syracuse, NY)...The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Racing Series presented by Born2Run Lubricants will once again take part in the annual Northeast Racing Products Auction & Trade Show in Syracuse, New York this Friday and Saturday, November 18-19. For the second straight year, the Show will be held in the ultra-modern Exposition Center located on the New York State Fairgrounds. The RUSH display will be the largest ever and feature the RUSH Late Model of 2022 National Weekly Series Champion Jeremy Wonderling along with the RUSH Sprint Car of Lacey Shuttleworth.
"We've always enjoyed taking part in this Show and have done so for numerous years," RUSH Director Vicki Emig. "Jeremie Corcoran has done a tremendous job bringing this show back to prominence in recent years and showcasing it at the new Expo Center has definitely taken it to another level. Over the years by participating we've connected on a lot of our current sponsor and speedway relationships, and it's always great to see so many of our Northern tier RUSH racers. We can't thank Jeremy Wonderling and Chris Shuttleworth enough for getting their cars show ready in a very short period of time since season's end and bringing them to Syracuse; they will be the centerpiece of our display and an awesome representation of RUSH!"
This year will mark the third time Wonderling will have his #3J RUSH Late Model on display in the RUSH booth. The Wellsville, NY standout took part at the 2018 and 2019 Shows following his Flynn's Tire Touring Series Championships; he won the 2020 title as well, but the Show did not take place that year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Shuttleworth, also of Wellsville, NY, meanwhile completed her first year in the RUSH Sprint Car division after moving out of kart racing. Shuttleworth, who is going to school at Jacksonville State in Alabama, didn't make her first start until July 22 and ran five Equipment Rental Options Weekly Series events. Her father Chris was a longtime "360" Sprint Car racer and was a loyal supporter during Emig's ownership of Mercer Raceway Park.
The show will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, visit https://northeastracingproducts.com or on Facebook by searching Northeast Racing Products Auction and Trade Show.
