Wes Wofford Sweeps Weekend Wins in POWRi Vado 305 Wing Sprint Double-Header

Belleville, IL. (11/6/22) Battling through the tight POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprint feature competitional weekend event would find Wes Wofford capture dual victories over stout fields in the double-header weekend at the Vado Speedway Park Inaugural Zia Sprint Car Classic to notch his eleventh career series victory.

Early on-track Friday action would find Wes Wofford and Justin Lasiter earn the heat race victories with Wes Wofford and Jesse Baker lining up on the front row entering the twenty-five lap feature event.

Blistering from the pole starting spot, Wes Wofford would wheel his way into victory lane capturing the feature event to gain his second seasonal win within the Vado 305 Sprints and tenth career victory as Caleb Saiz would race from starting fifth to finishing runner-up with ninth-starting Dylan Harris completing podium placements as Lorne Wofford finished fourth with Jesse Baker rounding out the top-five finishers at Vado Speedway Park with the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprints on Night One of the Zia Sprint Car Classic.

Starting a fresh night of on-track excitement Saturday for Night Two of the Zia Sprint Car Classic would witness Royal Jones and Caleb Saiz each earn heat race victories with Saiz and Lorne Wofford lining up on the front row entering the twenty-five-lap feature event.

Scorching onto the track for feature racing would see night-one winner and fourth-starting Wes Wofford cruise into his second straight winner’s circle and win the feature event to gain his third seasonal win within the Vado 305 Sprints as pole-starting Caleb Saiz would stay in the mix in the front to finish runner-up with second-starting Lorne Wofford completing podium placements as CJ Hulsey finished fourth with Royal Jones rounding out the top-five finishers at Vado Speedway Park with the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprints on Championship Night of the Zia Sprint Car Classic.
