Williamson Excited for World Finals Debut and New Crew Chief

Inside Line Promotions – COLUMBIA, Mo. (Oct. 26, 2022) – Garet Williamson will make his debut at the World of Outlaws World Finals next week.

The Bryant Paver Motorsports No. 24 is venturing to North Carolina for the marquee World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series event, which runs Nov. 2-5 at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord.

“World Finals is up there with the biggest events,” Williamson said. “It’s packed with a lot of race cars and fans. We want to do well. We have limited laps in a 410 sprint car, but some good ones recently.”

Williamson enters the event with a career-best World of Outlaws result of 14th and he is coming off his first career heat race win and dash start with the series during his most recent race. Now Williamson will get to test himself against the best in the sport during the last racing weekend of the season.

“I want to make the A Mains,” he said. “We’ll race with 60-to-70 of the best drivers. There’s the Outlaws as well as the All Stars and drivers from Pennsylvania and the Midwest. It’ll be some of the toughest races we’ll have ever run. If we can put a whole night together I believe we are good enough to make A Mains.

“Every kid watches events like this and the Knoxville Nationals. It’s a cool event to be a part of. We’ll try to be fast and to get good notes for next year. We have three nights of racing, which is always helpful. I’m not going into it with expectations. We’ll do our best and try to learn as much as possible.”

The team will also have its new crew chief on board. Dennis Moore Jr. will take over the wrenches at the World of Outlaws World Finals as well as throughout next season.

“It’s huge,” Williamson said. “He’s had a lot of success in our sport. The little bit we’ve talked and worked together we’ve been fast. We communicate really well. I think that’s critical in the relationship between a driver and crew chief so I’m excited.”
