The annual “Battle at the Brickyard” unfolds July 24-28, showcasing USAC’s Mopar .25 Midget participants in the biggest .25 Midget event of the year. The exciting and fun week of racing will take place at the Mini-Indy oval, located at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
As in the past, race winners will receive distinctive commemorative bricks in recognition of their victories in this prestigious event, along with USAC medallions and other prizes.
Parking and sign-in will take place on Tuesday, July 24, with practice and a special “Prelude to the Brickyard” Pit Party for all participants on Wednesday, July 25, featuring a free BBQ dinner, jumbo screen movies and a display of USAC race cars and drivers.
In addition, registered drivers will receive free tickets to USAC’s Traxxas Silver Crown/Mopar National Midget “doubleheader” at Indianapolis Raceway Park July 26. Free tickets for the NASCAR Brickyard 400 are also being made available for those pre-registered by Monday, July 9.
Racing commences on Thursday, July 26 with heat races. Lower mains will be held on Friday, July 27 and A-Mains on Saturday, July 28.

This event is always a highlight of the racing season for USAC’s Mopar .25 Midget participants and a stellar field of entrants from across the country are expected.
