Belleville, IL. (10/3/2022) History would be made in 2022 with the crowing of POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints’ Chasity Younger, of St. Joseph Missouri, as the series champion while becoming the first female to tout the honors as a POWRi Champion in any series or league.
Setting the record earlier in the season by becoming the first female driver to earn a win within POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprint feature competition, Younger has now solidified herself among the top-tier talents in open-wheel racing by clinching the first title of her emerging career.
