Powri West Midgets return to Osage Casino & Hotel Tulsa Speedway Friday September 9th.
Making their first and only stop of 2022 at Tulsa the mighty midgets take to the highbanks of the quarter-mile bullring for some fast-paced action. Emilio Hoover looks to extend his point lead in the series as well as improve on his 10th place result of the 2021 campaign at Tulsa.
The Powri West series has had a reputation of bringing some of the best of local talent to the track along with action packed, wheel to wheel racing. Sliders are on tap come feature time, so be ready and on the edge of your seat when the green flag waves.
Tulsa will have 3 support classes in action with the series including the USRA B-Mods, Factory Stocks, and Mini-Stocks.
While a close points battle has ensued in the B-mod and Factory Stock Divisions their championships look to come down to the last race.
Richard Magee holds the top spot in the B-Mods with the top 5 all within 110 points. One small mistake from any of the top 5 could change the landscape of the points battle there.
Chris Bales currently sits atop the Factory Stocks with a very slim lead of 21 points over Donnie Wright. Both have held a consistent form all season long.
