Belleville, IL. (8/20/22) Jeremy Camp would use a pole-grid to perfection at Macon Speedway in the POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro League presented by Engler Machine & Tool feature event on Saturday Night to claim his fifteenth career feature win within league competition.
Entering a stout field of twenty competitors in the POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro League presented by Engler Machine and Tool at Macon Speedway would find Daryn Stark, Jeremy Camp, and Craig Ronk each claim early heat racing wins with Camp gaining the night’s high-point qualifier award and pole-grid for the feature race.
Flying onto the track, Jeremy Camp would emerge victorious after an action-packed micro feature with Craig Ronk resulting in an outstanding runner-up finishing effort after battling for nearly the entire twenty-lap feature event.
“I gave a couple of feature wins away earlier in the season, it feels so good to finally pull off the feature win. I knew Craig was going to be fast up top but I just had to hold my line and got it done tonight,” said an ecstatic Jeremy Camp in the Macon Speedway winner’s celebration circle.
In contention among the front-runners all evening, point-leader John Barnard would notch a solid third with Chad Elliott placing fourth as Devin Feger showed speed all night to round out the top-five finishers at Macon Speedway with the POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro League presented by Engler Machine and Tool feature.
