Wentworth, NH- Friday night at legion Speedway it was The JRC Transportation Sprint Cars of New England again racing the 1/4 mile track. With sixteen cars in the pit area it was an action packed night of open wheel dirt track racing with SCoNE as the headliner for a great 25 lap feature. The FK Rod Ends heat Race #1 saw the 77 of Luke Greenwood take down the win followed by Jim Lowery, and Floyd Billington. In the O'Reilly Auto Parts Heat Race #2 it was Matt Hoyt taking the win with Will Hull and Caleb Lamson the top three. The two heat races saw some great action and the the teams then went to work to set up for the feature. With good track conditions the fans were going to see some great 360 winged sprint car action. As the field would line up for the New Hampshire Oil Undercoating it would be Rick Stone and Chris Donnelly leading the field to green. Stone was down bottom as Donnelly went to the high side in turn one and got the lead. A caution on lap five would bring them back to the restart with Caleb Lamson now running second. Another caution would fall on lap seven as Kadyn Berry would have a engine problem. On the restart Matt Hoyt would get by Lamson and chase down Donnelly. Hoyt did get close and give Donnelly a challenge , but Donnelly was running real good and fast too. At the finish it was Chris Donnelly taking his third win of the season over Matt Hoyt and Caleb Lamson, followed by Will Hull and Floyd Billington. Six thru ten would be Clay Dow, Jake Williams, Mark Cole, Jim Lowery, and Wade Prentice.
Chris Donnelly sits atop the point lead over Will Hull, Clay Dow, and Matt Hoyt. The series next goes to Bear Ridge Speedway on 8/20.
