2022 Lucas Oil ASCS Speedweek Action Continues for Britt

Tuesday night took Landon Britt Motorsports to Tulsa (Okla.) Speedway as the 2022 Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Speedweek continued.

Landon enjoyed a great night at the 1/4-mile oval. He started the night by qualifying second fastest in his group before finishing fourth in heat race action, which positioned him ninth on the feature grid.

Britt marched forward five spots in the 25-lap finale to finish fourth behind Tim Crawley, Dale Howard, and Dylan Westbrook.

Caney (Kan.) Valley Speedway welcome the Lucas Oil ASCS Speedweek on Wednesday night, where 24 Sprint Car competitors registered for battle. Britt qualified fourth-fastest in his group to earn the pole position for his heat race.

Unfortunately he slipped back to a seventh-place finish in his heat race, which left him starting 21st in the 25-lap feature. Despite being mired in the starting grid Landon charged 11 spots in the feature to finish 10th, which earned him the night's Hard Charger Award.

On Thursday night action shifted to 81 Speedway (Wichita, Kan.). Landon qualified fourth fastest in his group and backed it up with a runner-up finish in his heat race. Starting the feature in eighth, he raced to a fifth-place finish behind Matt Covington, Wayne Johnson, Tim Crawley, and Jason Martin.

Unfortunately Friday and Saturday's events fell victim to rain.

Landon finished seventh in the ASCS Speedweek standings and is also seventh in the 2022 series championship standings.
