Belleville, IL. (7/25/22) Fighting the extreme heat of the previous weekend with five venues offering outstanding fender racing in weekly competition, the POWRi Super Stock Division continues to add to the weekend excitement as National Point connections remain for competitors. Weekend feature winners would include defending Darek Wiss, Caleb Brown, and Devin Irvin; with Johnny Coats gaining the advantage at the Super Stock Showcase at Central Missouri Speedway.
Racing in a flurry of points accumulated just past the mid-season point, drivers within the POWRi Super Stock Division National Championship Chase are staying near as Michael Muskrat remains atop the standings by an eighty-point margin. Ted Welschmeyer defends the runner-up spot with Bobby Ruff II, Aaron Poe, Nick Gibson, Blaine Ewing, Devin Irvin, Mathew Seaman, Donnie Miller, and Dale Berry remaining nearly even to round out the top ten in the current seasonal points picture.
