Bryan Hulbert – BELGRADE, Mont. (July 25, 2022) Wrapping up the month of July with two nights of racing, the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region heads for Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont. on Friday, July 29, and Big Sky Speedway in Billings, Mont. on Saturday, July 30.
The third visit to the Belgrade oval, Colby Thornhill and Phil Dietz have collected wins in the first two visits. A look at Big Sky shows wins going to Colby Thornhill in the first round, with Logan Forler sweeping the tour’s last visit on July 15 and 16.
Going into the weekend, Trever Kirkland holds a 68-point margin over Canada’s Kelly Miller. Third is held by Kory Wermling, with Tyler Driever and Phil Dietz making up the top five in tour standings.
Friday, July 29 at Gallatin Speedway opens at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 7:35 P.M. (MDT). Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and free for kids 12 and under. Saturday, July 30 at Big Sky Speedway, open at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for Senior and Military. Kids under 60-inches tall are admitted free into the grandstands. Big Sky Speedway is located at 11298 Roundup Rd. in Shepherd, Mont. The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
