Cole Vanderheiden raced to a Top-4 finish on Friday night at Crawford County Speedway (Dennison, Iowa) in IMCA Race Saver Sprint Car action.
A fourth-to-second charge in heat race action resulted in a third-starting spot for the main event. Cole ran in the third for the majority of the feature before slipping to a fourth-place finish at the checkered flag behind Cody Ledger, Mike Houseman Jr., and Josh Riggins with Stuart Snyder in fifth.
On Saturday evening action shifted to Eagle (Neb.) Raceway, where Cole started and finished third in his heat race. Unfortunately the feature was rained out, and will be run as a double feature next Saturday.
Sunday night competition took the team to Huset's Speedway, where a sixth-place finish in his heat race pinned Cole 11th on the feature grid. He advanced a pair of spots to finish ninth in the 20-lap finale
