Inside Line Promotions – ROSSBURG, Ohio (July 18, 2022) – A 13th-place result highlighted five straight nights of racing with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series last week for Greg Wilson and the Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics and DNC Hydraulics sponsored Seeling Motorsports team.

The busy week got off to a strong start last Tuesday when Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, hosted the Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic. Wilson timed in 10th quickest in his group and advanced from fifth to third place during a heat race. He then battled for a top 10 throughout the feature before ending 13th – his second-best World of Outlaws result of the season.

“I was pretty happy,” he said. “Obviously with one of my sponsors being the title sponsor of the race and having a lot of people there it’s a lot of pressure. Making the race is the first step. We were extremely happy when we made the race. And I felt we were competitive.

“We were inside the top 10, outside the top 10, back in the top 10 and then finished 13th. The cars from like fourth on back weren’t all that far apart from each other. All in all, I was pretty happy with the way it went. We don’t normally time in that well. To be decent in qualifying and be competitive in the heat and the feature with that level of competition, I was happy.”

The team spent the next four nights at Eldora Speedway, where qualifying struggles hampered Wilson each night.

“Our whole program is better when it’s slick whether it’s my driving, what we do with the car, our engines,” he said. “Basically three of those races rain effected in one way or another and the night that it didn’t was the night we showed the most promise, when we came from way back and almost transferred out of the C Main after passing 10 cars. Nothing went our way all week to us getting a flat tire on the way out on Saturday. We’re looking forward to moving on this weekend.”

Wilson plans on competing this Friday at Attica Raceway Park and Saturday at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, with the All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads/Kistler Racing Products Attica Fremont Championship Series presented by the Baumann Auto Group. He has earned a pair of AFCS feature victories at Fremont Speedway this season.
