Hartland, Wisconsin (July 11th, 2022) – The Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 had a two week break, where Bill Balog delivered an IRA Sprint Car feature win and a Badger State Midget feature event win in Wisconsin. The B Squared Motorsports team resumed their 2022 All Star campaign with a pair of top 5 finishes and a top 10 feature result at a trio of tracks between Wednesday, July 6, and Saturday, July 9th in Pennsylvania and New York.

The triple header week kicked off with the 31st edition of the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, July 6th. The B Squared Motorsports #17B posted a 9th place finish against a stout 40 car field, all battling for the 31st edition of the prestigious $25,000 to win event. After transferring to the feature event through a fourth place heat race finish, the North Pole Nightmare advanced five positions to score a strong top 10 result for the Anderson’s Pure Maple Syrup team.

“It was good to get back to Wisconsin and regroup with a couple wins during the All Star break, we had a lot of equipment to work on after Ohio Speedweek. It’s always tough racing in PA, it was good to get back on the road, pass some quality cars and battle for a top 10 finish” Bill Balog said, driver of the CK Contractors LLC, Buesser Concrete, Howard Law, Wayne Corini, CPA, Capitol Senior Services LLC, Rocky Rococo's Pizza, Turn It Up Media sprint car that featured wing sponsorship by the 7-Day Alaskan Jewel Cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line for September 11-18th 2023 via Making Memories Travel.

After an off-day on Thursday, July 7, the All Star competition kicked off a two-day sweep through the Empire State, first setting aim on a visit to Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, New York, on Friday, July 8. The “Northpole Nightmare” Bill Balog started the feature event in ninth starting position after transferring through the heat race. Bill charged forward five positions to claim a fourth place finish in a feature event that saw a wild final few laps in his Ransomville debut.

A two-hour jaunt south took the All Star Circuit of Champions to Stateline Speedway in Busti, New York, for a $6,000-to-win headliner on Saturday, July 9th. Bill qualified 3rd quick overall, top in his group, transferring to the dash redraw through a third place heat race finish. After a sixth place starting position, Bill battled Zeb Wise for the final podium position as a few late-race caution flags flew. The Anderson’s Pure Maple Syrup #17B would settle for a 5th place finish, building on a streak of top ten finishes.

“We’ve proven we can compete for the win or a podium if we qualify well, that’s been our focus all year. The car felt great all night tonight. I have to thank all the sponsor partners and the people behind this thing, we’ve kept battling throughout the year and have good speed rolling into the month of money.” said Balog of the Anderson’s Pure Maple Syrup, CK Contractors LLC, Buesser Concrete, Howard Law, Wayne Corini, CPA, Capitol Senior Services LLC, Rocky Rococo's Pizza, Turn It Up Media sprint car team.

Upcoming Racing Schedule
Next up for the team is four nights of racing at the famed Eldora Speedway with the Nos Energy Drink World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series for the Kings Royal July 13th-16th. Bill had a career best 4th place finish at last year’s 38th Kings Royal event.

The All Star Circuit of Champions will return to competition on Friday and Saturday, July 22-23. Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Missouri, will host “America’s Series” for the two-day Beach Brawl awarding $8,000-to-win and $10,000-to-win, respectively. The All Star Missouri takeover will then continue on Thursday and Friday, July 28-29, with the Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race doubleheader at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Missouri. The Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race finale will award a $26,000 payday.
