Tulsa Speedway Welcomes Osage Casino & Hotel as Naming Rights Sponsor
TULSA, Okla. (July 1, 2022) — The New Tulsa Speedway is proud to announce Osage Casino & Hotel as the new naming rights sponsor of the quarter-mile dirt oval track. Situated next to Osage Casino & Hotel Tulsa Raceway Park, a quarter-mile dragstrip, the speedway hosts national dirt racing events and weekly racing, including the Osage Casino & Hotel Champ 305 Sprints.
“Osage Casino & Hotel has been on board with us at Tulsa Raceway Park for almost 10 years now, and it’s exciting to now bring them in as the naming rights sponsor of Tulsa Speedway as well,” said Keith Haney, who co-owns both tracks with fellow racer Todd Martin. “They know what we've done at the dragstrip and know we're going to do the same at the dirt track. They’re an entertainment venue just like we are, and we always encourage our fans to go check out Osage Casino & Hotel after the races.”
Construction started on the Tulsa Speedway dirt oval two years ago, and the track opened for racing in July of 2021. Since then, the Tulsa Speedway team, including new Operations Manager Nathan Hagar, has made sweeping upgrades to the facility, including VIP ticketing, air-conditioned bathrooms, full concessions, a snow cone stand, full merchandise, offices, new lighting, new clay, pit pass bleachers, a handicap walkway, and new fencing.
“We've done so much to make the track fan friendly and family friendly,” Haney said. “We want this to be an entertainment destination for the whole family. Bring your employees out too – we have corporate suites available now. We’re doing everything we can to make this a state-of-the-art facility.”
The track also invested in its own livestreaming equipment, so 18 of Tulsa Speedway’s events throughout the 2022 season are streamed live on Flo Racing. Fans watching from home can also search Tulsa Speedway on the “My Race Pass” app for live timing and scoring.
The new track and its upgrades over the last year haven’t gone unnoticed by the community, as fans, racers, and sponsors have shown support for Tulsa Speedway.
“Everything we've been doing has been amazing and it's attracted some major sponsorships,” Haney said. “QuikTrip, Smith Farm & Garden, Summit Racing, and now Osage Casino & Hotel. The support has been amazing.”
With support from Osage Casino & Hotel, Haney and the Tulsa Speedway team are building a new Tulsa Speedway legacy so local racers and fans have a place to enjoy racing, whether it’s the track’s Friday Night Lights races or national touring series like the Lucas Oil ACSC National Sprint Cars, which roll into Tulsa on July 21 for the opening night of Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek.
“Tulsa Speedway has a long history,” Haney said. “It closed down back in 2005. That was the old Tulsa Speedway. This is the new Tulsa Speedway. All the people that used to go to the Tulsa Speedway are starting to know that we're up and running and weekly dirt track racing is back in Tulsa for the first time in almost 20 years. Todd and I believed in it, and Osage believes in us. We can't thank the whole board at Osage enough for believing in us. We're grateful to have them.”
