CRANDALL, Texas (June 27, 2022) RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas returns to racing action on Sunday, July 3, 2022.
Purchased by Steven Nabors, the long-time racer, car owner, and owner of Nabors Roofing in Dallas, Texas has breathed new life into the quarter-mile oval and plans to kick things off with a bang.
Along with racing this Sunday, the Independence Day Weekend blowout will include Fireworks, and live music from Stoney LaRue and Keith Mitchell. Tickets are just $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, military, and youth (6-15), and free for kids five and under. RPM Speedway is a cash-only facility.
For Sunday, July 3, four divisions will fill the card with each paying $3,000 to win, $200 to start. Classes include Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds, Modifieds, and Stock Non-Wing Micros. USRA rules will be enforced in the Factory Stocks and both Modified divisions, Micros will be governed using NOW600 rules.
Exceptions to the rules include:
*Modifieds can use the Hoosier G60.
*Limited Modifieds can use a Quick Change Rear End.
*Brinn Transmissions and B-Mods will not be allowed.
Pits will open at 4:00 P.M. Grandstands at 5:00 P.M. Cars will be on track for Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M., with racing at 8:00 P.M. (CDT).
RPM Speedway is located just east of Crandall, Texas. Take US-175 to CR 4104, then turn south. The track's physical address is 1267 CR 4104, Crandall, TX 75114.
