With 36 Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions entries on the grounds, Ryan missed a transfer spot in his heat by one car with a sixth-place finish, relegating him into the B-Main for one last chance at the feature. Taking the top-four, Jordan was ran as high as second but retired early from the 12-lapper due to poor track conditions.
On Saturday afternoon at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) for the fifth annual Dean Knittel Memorial, Jordan followed up a seventh-place finish in his heat race with a C-Main victory. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the $20,554-to-win A-Main, Ryan charged through the field eight spots but fell short of transferring with an eighth-place outing.
