Central Missouri Speedway Rolls into Second Half of Season on Saturday!

(Warrensburg, Missouri) The second half of the 2022 championship season continues Saturday at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) as drivers pursue season championships and victories during another weekend of weekly racing. Car classes competing on Saturday include B-Mods, POWRi Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, and POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints. The POWRi Super Stocks have a week off this Saturday, June 25.
Several drivers gave shout-outs to the CMS track crew last weekend as the race surface produced multi-line racing and one of the closest finishes of the season. B-Mod point leader Terry Schultz leads the talented field of B-Mods into this week as he looks to continue his winning ways coming off his 75th career CMS win last Saturday.
B-Mod drivers are gearing up for their $3,000-to-Win Tom Wilson memorial over the Independence Day weekend, which is shaping up to be one of the strongest areas fields of B-Mod drivers expected this season. This Saturday’s Timeline: POWRi Super Stocks are off on June 25, all other weekly classes will be on hand plus the POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints. Pit gates opening at 4:30, grandstands at 5, pill draw cutoff for drivers 6:15 (no passing points awarded if late check-in), pit meeting 6:30, hot laps at 7, and racing at 7:30 or after hot laps. Admission Details: Adults $15, Active-Duty Military and Senior Citizens aged 65 to 74 $12, Kids 6 to 12 years old $6, five and under free, seniors 75 and older and individuals permanently confined to a wheelchair are free in the grandstands. All pit passes are $35 regardless of age.
The 22nd Annual Tom Wilson Memorial is just two weeks away and CMS has an exciting weekend of special event racing planned for the weekend.
