JONESTOWN, Pa. (June 20, 2022) - The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss made the most of his two-day visit to Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, highlighting the Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial doubleheader with a 12th-place score on Friday, June 17. Nearly ending in catastrophe, Zearfoss’ Friday night campaign from row seven did not come free of challenges, as the former World of Outlaws winner was forced to take evasive action to miss a flipping car on the opening lap; the incident occurred during the second A-Main start attempt.
Zearfoss capped his two-day visit to Beaver Dam with a 17th-place run on Saturday; he started 12th.
“We’re always looking for ways to improve,” Zearfoss mentioned, driver of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, K1 RaceGear, BK Titanium, AL Driveline, No. 3Z sprint car. “It wasn’t the weekend we were searching for, but we have a good baseline for when we come back. We’ll turn our focus toward Huset’s and aim for $100,000.”
ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their sophomore campaign with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with four nights of competition at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota, on Wednesday through Saturday, June 22-25, all of which headlined with the High Bank Nationals that technically begins Thursday, June 23, with a $15,000-to-win preliminary. High Bank Nationals action will continue with a $20,000-to-win preliminary on Friday, June 24, followed by the $100,000-to-win finale on Saturday, June 25.
