Whittall to use upcoming weekend as PA Sprint Speedweek prep

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (June 14, 2022) - With Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek just over the horizon, Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports plan to use their upcoming visits to Williams Grove and Port Royal on June 17-18 as valuable test sessions, making last minute adjustments before their Speedweek campaign activates on Friday, June 24.

Although not participating in the entire 10-race Pennsylvania Speedweek slate, the Vincentown, New Jersey-based open wheel team plans to enter seven, kicking-off with the aforementioned opener at Williams Grove Speedway.

Whittall, a former 410 sprint car winner at Williams Grove and a recent top-ten finisher against the All Star Circuit of Champions at Port Royal, will continue his Speedweek venture with stops at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, June 25, Port Royal Speedway on Wednesday, June 29, Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland, on Thursday, June 30, Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, July 1, Port Royal Speedway again on Saturday, July 2, and Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday, July 3.

“We’re pretty excited for PA Speedweek, but we still have some work to do,” Whittall said, driver of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, No. 67 sprint car. “Speedweek is a pretty special time in Pennsylvania, and although we’re not planning to enter all ten races, there’s still a ton of money up for grabs and we hope to be in on the action. We’ve had a pretty solid season so far, and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished. Adding our names to the Speedweek win list would be really special.”

Recent results for Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports includes finishing eighth at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, June 11; he started 14th.
