Belleville, IL. (5/26/22) Extensive precipitation amounts during the week causing saturated facility grounds have forced POWRi and Lake Ozark Speedway officials to cancel the Friday portion of the Spring Sprint and Midget Nationals with Saturday, May 28th still scheduled as originally planned.
“The facility needs time to dry out from all the rain that we received this week,” said Kevin Greven Lake Ozark Speedway General Manager. Adding, “With the persistent rain all-day Thursday into even Friday morning, we need a full day to dry the place out, Saturday will be good to go.”
Next up on the yearly agenda for the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget League as well as the Lucas Oil POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League will be Saturday, May 28th for the Final Night of the Spring Sprint & Midget Nationals at Lake Ozark Speedway including the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV National Tour, as well as the POWRi RaceSaver Sprints for an all open-wheel docket of competition.
