Friday night found Ryan Timms in action at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) aboard his West Flyer Express No. 5T 410 Sprinter. Following a seventh-to-fourth run in his heat, Timms charged from the fifth-starting positon in the feature to finish second. With the 25-lapper running flag-to-flag with no cautions, Ryan trailed A.J. Flick across the line with Carl Bowser rounding out the podium.
On Saturday, Ryan traveled to Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) to make his first career start at the half-mile Pennsylvania oval. In a field of 34 Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Cars, Timms edged his way into the main event with a fifth-place finish in his heat. Starting in 17th, Ryan was able to complete eighth circuits until a rain shower postponed the event to a date to be named.
To wrap up the tripleheader weekend, Timms stopped at Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, Pa.) on Sunday for the $5,000 prize. After timing in eighth-fastest, Mother Nature made an appearance and wiped out the remainder of the program.
