Bryan Hulbert – GREAT FALLS, Mont. (May 24, 2022) Delayed a week due to circumstances beyond the series control, the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region’s 2022 season will begin with the long-awaited return to Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont. on Friday, May 27, and, Saturday, May 28.
Series Director, Josh Stagg, has a shipment of Hoosier Tires that will be available during the event.
Back at the three-tenths-mile oval for the first time since August 11, 2018, the night’s win went to Idaho’s Logan Forler, who charged from seventh for the victory over Geoff Ensign and Kelly Miller. The night’s field consisted of 24 teams.
Friday, May 27, and, Saturday, May 28 will open at 4:00 P.M. for teams to pull into the Pits, with Grandstands opening at 5:30 P.M. Racing gets underway at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Friday’s card will include WISSOTA Midwest Mods and WISSOTA Street Stock. Saturday will change up support divisions to WISSOTA Super Stock, WISSOTA Street Stock, and IMCA Modified.
Tickets per day are $20 for adults, $14 for Military, Senior (55+), Military, and Youth (13-17), and $5 for Kids 12 and under. Electric City Speedway is located just north of Great Falls, Mont. on Hwy. 87 at 2801 Old Havre Hwy. The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes 11 Regional Tours encompassing both wing and non-wing competition.
