Another three-race run began for Cole Vanderheiden on Friday night at Iowa's Crawford County Speedway.
Fourteen IMCA RaceSaver Sprints registered for the night's competition, and Cole stormed to the heat race win from the fourth-starting spot, which positioned him fifth on the feature starting grid.
He would unfortunately battle the handle on a slick track in the main event, slipping as far back as the 11th position before rebounding to finish sixth.
Saturday night brought the team back to Eagle (Neb.) Raceway, where yet another talented field of 25 racers invaded the 1/3-mile oval. From the second-starting position in his heat race, Vanderheiden picked up the win, which marked his first ever at Eagle Raceway.
He started the feature in the second position before crossing the finish line in sixth for the second-straight night.
The three-race swing drew to a close on Sunday night at Huset's Speedway (Brandon, S.D.) as 25 drivers took aim on the night's program. A fifth-place finish in his heat race relegated Cole to the B-Main, where he finished second to lock into the night's feature.
Rolling off 18th on the feature grid, Vanderheiden advanced to seven positions to record a solid 11th-place finish.
